Itinerary of
Laughs Inc.
This page is an attempt to chronicle the locations of Laugh's Inc.
performances throughout the group's existence from September 1944 to
October 1945. Also included are the performance locations of the
group "This Ain't the Army." Three sources were used to obtain
this information:
Joe Geczi was with Laughs, Inc. when it began and Duane
Harvey Hodges was with the group when it disbanded. Geczi and
Hodges served together in the unit during the months of April, May,
June, July, and August of 1945. Geczi maintain a detailed list of
performance from September to December of 1944. From letters sent
home, Geczi's daughter, Madeline Marziotta, was able to compile a list
of performance which appear below in italics
type while entries from Hodges 1945 memo book are shown in bold type.
