A new event with fantastic potential. We will be doing a mounted living history at Middleton Plantation in Charlestown, SC. This is a one day event commemorating the fight at Rantowle's Bridge between William Washington's 3dCLD and Banestre Tarleton's BL cavalry. The current day Middleton Plantation is a 4 star resort and working 18thC plantation, sort of a southern Williamsburg only without the red tape and personalities!, We will have a paddock for our horses and Joel Anderson is trying to wrangle some reduced rate rooms for the event or you can just camp ala 18thC on the lawn.

This two-day event features re-enactors from all over the southeast portraying military and civilian life during the American Revolution. The event will feature weapons and tactics demonstrations, cooking, camp life, and many other aspects of life during America's infancy. The DAR and SAR will perform a commemoration on the first day of the event.
